2. Clinical Privacy & HIPAA

Please be advised that the information you share on this website is not a part of your medical record.

  • Communication: Standard email and website contact forms are not 100% secure. Please do not send sensitive health information via the contact form.

  • Notice of Privacy Practices (NPP): As a licensed psychologist, I maintain a separate, comprehensive Notice of Privacy Practices regarding your Protected Health Information (PHI) as required by HIPAA. New clients will be provided with this full notice via the secure client portal prior to our first session.

3. Terms of Service

  • No Doctor-Patient Relationship: Using this website or the contact form does not establish a doctor-patient relationship. Such a relationship is only formed after we have both signed a formal Treatment Agreement.

  • Not for Emergency Use: This website and its contact methods are for administrative and scheduling purposes only. They are not monitored 24/7. If you are in a life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

  • Jurisdiction: I am a psychologist licensed in North Carolina and authorized to practice telepsychology in participating PSYPACT states. All services are governed by the laws and ethical standards of my licensing board.
